From feeding the hungry, to giving shelter to the homeless and providing free education to the impoverished youth: all were made possible through UNTV’s Ang Dating Daan, by the efforts of MCGI congregants.

Ang Dating Daan, which started in 1980, refers to itself as “the longest-running religious program in the Philippines.” UNTV has an AM station, UNTV Radio La Verdad 1350.

It also has an FM station, 107.5 Wish FM, rebranded from DWNU 107.5 FM and 107.5 Win Radio.

Soon, it will also showcase wholesome, educational, and entertaining shows.

It also serves additional avenue for MCGI to share its faith, the Bible and the good news of God’s kingdom. The activity includes upgrading of technical equipment and studio facilities. ADDTV is on test broadcast since 2014 along with its affiliate UNTV News and Rescue on UHF channel 38 (617143 frequency). It will also be launching other channels in DTV such as 24/7 news and rescue channel and the Kids Nation Channel (KNC), an educational channel for kids anytime soon.

Indubitably, charity is an integral part of all Ang Dating Daan’s anniversary celebrations then and now.

The celebration’s highlight is the astonishing number of choristers that will fill the Big Dome with hymns of praises.
